(1) Google Ads Performance Max gets “AI Essentials” mode

Google Ads now offers a more simplified campaign builder. The campaign builder for Performance Max has been made to make getting started easier but it’s not a silver bullet.

It has been named “AI Essentials” and it’s a method to get live easily and begin testing the campaign type. This provides a quick and agile method for implementing a campaign idea. However, avoid the risk of wasting money and going it alone. This method still needs an experienced Google Ads expert on the team to launch correctly.

Performance Max can be super powerful for your brand but if you want to avoid pitfalls of poor automation set up, generic copy and broad audience targeting then we can help.

(2) TikTok expands creative tools for faster video testing

If you want to build short form creative without the costs this is a place to start out. TikTok's upgraded “Symphony AI” suite offers script-writing and automated scene editing. Testing ideas faster and cheaper is even simpler with the changes in this software.

Businesses can now easily deploy ad variations across TikTok and even place them on Instagram reels to see how they improve performance metrics. It offers the benefit of learning quickly and will enable you to brief your design teams with real world data. We love this proof of concept approach as you can ensure every penny you spend on creative considers your audience’s engagement so every campaign delivers fantastic results.

(3) Google adds AI Overview filters to SEO Reporting

Google has enhanced its search reporting insights for SEO with AI-generated summaries. Currently this is rolling out in the USA but it’s something to be excited for launching on a global scale. This change helps brands have a clearer view of top pages, referring traffic sources and user engagement. It merges data from their products both Google Analytics 4 and Search Console into one interface.

Changes in the platform will make it easier for data management and help you to spot which content is resonating well and where the traffic demand is actually coming from without digging into multiple platforms.

While the summaries are helpful they shouldn’t replace deeper analysis. This should speed up identifying the opportunity and springboard you into new content ideas.

(4) Facebook and Instagram AI content will show on Google🚨

Meta (the company behind Instagram and Facebook) has started adding a “Made with AI” label to posts that look like they were created using artificial intelligence, such as edited images or videos with voiceovers. So, what does this mean for you?

This means your content now has more chance of being discovered, as these posts may also appear in Google search results giving your brand more visibility across platforms.

If your business relies on strong visuals, now’s a good time to check how you’re editing and sharing content. Taking a few extra steps now can help your content perform really well.
